Blase adds modern elements to old paintings.
French artist nicknamed Blase posts modernized version of old paintings that he buys in flea markets, Fubiz writes. The author adds elements typical for the 21st century: for instance, T-shirts with prints, Make America Great Again baseball hats and mobile gadgets.
Blase adds the new details to paintings not by photo editing, but by hand — painting them on the original canvas. On his website, he writes that he has an MA in History of Art and is well acquainted with techniques of different artists.
